Cotai Strip

Wynn Palace Macau

A choreographed fountain and light show on a private lake, crossed by a cable car — Wynn Palace is Cotai's most photogenic resort after dark.

Wynn Palace opened in 2016 as the newer, larger sibling to the original Wynn Macau on the peninsula. Its centrepiece is an eight-acre performance lake in front of the resort, where a free choreographed water, light and music show runs on a rotating schedule throughout the day and evening. A cable car — included for hotel guests and available to visitors — glides directly over the lake between the resort's two wings.

What to do there

  • Performance Lake show — free, runs on a set schedule (roughly every 15–30 minutes depending on time of day); most dramatic after dark.
  • SkyCab — the cable car crossing the lake, a quick way to see the show from above.
  • Floral gardens — an indoor floral display in the lobby, changed seasonally.
  • Casino floor — smaller and generally quieter than The Venetian's; 21+ with ID.
  • High-end dining and shopping — Wynn Palace leans more upscale/quiet than its neighbours.
