Three days is the sweet spot: enough time for the old town, the casino resorts, and the quieter islands — without feeling rushed.
Day 1 — The Historic Centre
- Morning: Senado Square, the Leal Senado Building and St Dominic's Church.
- Midday: walk Rua de São Paulo, sampling egg tarts and jerky, up to the Ruins of St Paul's.
- Afternoon: Fortaleza do Monte, then down to A-Ma Temple by taxi or a longer walk through the Moorish Barracks and Lilau Square.
- Evening: dinner at a Macanese restaurant on the peninsula; see the Grand Lisboa lit up after dark.
Day 2 — Cotai Resorts
